How many mystery packages are in Wrong Package?
The current game contains 1,000 mystery packages. Each item has five clues, giving the game a 5,000-clue content bank.
Are categories shown before I guess?
No. Categories are not shown to the player, so the hidden item could be almost anything in the game’s family-friendly item bank.
What happens when I make a wrong guess?
The package stays sealed and the answer is not revealed. You can guess again or ask for another clue.
How many clues can I use?
Each mystery has up to five clues, ordered from harder to easier. After clue 5 you can continue guessing without a limit.
What does the Skip button do?
Skip moves you to another package without revealing the answer. The skipped package remains unsolved and can appear again later.
Can I send a clue to a friend?
Yes. Send Clue shares the current package, answer length and the clue you are viewing, without including the answer.
Can I share a mystery without sharing a clue?
Yes. The Share button sends a link to the same mystery package while keeping the answer hidden.
Can I challenge a friend with a package I already solved?
Yes. After solving a package, tap Challenge a Friend — or open My Packages and use the Challenge button beside any solved item. Your friend receives that exact package from Clue 1, and the answer is not included.
Does Wrong Package accept common alternative names?
Yes, where a common synonym clearly describes the same item. For example, the game can accept “torch” for “flashlight” and “swim fins” for “flippers”.
Can I install Wrong Package like an app?
On supported browsers, use the Download App button or your browser’s Install App or Add to Home Screen option.
Why is there an Amazon shop?
Many Wrong Package answers are real products. The Shop uses Amazon.com affiliate links. When Amazon OneLink is configured, eligible international visitors may be redirected to an available local Amazon store. The shop includes the required affiliate disclosure.
