Learn how to play Wrong Package: use up to five clues, type your guess, skip tricky mysteries, send a clue to a friend, and earn up to five stars.
The mystery is simple
A sealed package appears, but you cannot see what is inside. The number of letters is shown. You start with one clue and type what you think the hidden item is.
Clue 1 is the hardest. Every extra clue is designed to make the mystery easier.
Wrong guesses never reveal the answer. The package stays sealed and you can keep trying.
There are up to five clues. After clue 5 you can still guess as many times as you like.
The item name is revealed only after a correct guess. Then you move to another mystery.
⭐ How stars work
Solve with fewer clues to earn more stars. There is no penalty for a wrong guess.
Skipping does not reveal the answer. That package stays mysterious and can return later.
Share the exact mystery and clue with a friend without giving away the solution.
Common equivalents such as “torch” and “flashlight” are accepted where they mean the same item.
